Application of Flexible Printed Circuits and Smart Fabrics
Laird utilizes advance DuPont materials for flexible printed circuits and/or selectively plated flexible fabrics (stretchable and non-stretchable) to create assemblies providing more than just a trace path. The advanced sensor product family provides a solution for compressible SMT gasket sensors, heating elements, capacitive sensors, and pressure switches, incorporating flexible materials as the basis for these solutions. The flexible nature of advanced sensors allows its application in environments which are unsuitable for traditional circuit and sensor design.
